Contactless Data Nominated for Prestigious SESAMES Awards 2008

Tucson, Arizona - September 24, 2008 - Contactless Data, a pioneer in NFC-based mobile couponing solutions, proudly announces that it has been selected as a finalist for the prestigious SESAMES Awards 2008 to be held at CARTES & IDentification 2008, the world’s largest show for the smart card and identification industries.

Mobifetch, nominated in the category for best and most innovative Customer Loyalty product worldwide, is a highly scalable mobile coupon management platform leveraging NFC technology. The server component, referred to as Mobifetch Network, is based on a patent pending system for controlled issuance and secure electronic processing of mobile coupons. The Mobifetch Wallet is used as a secure client component running on the NFC -enabled cell phone to intuitively search, download, manage and redeem coupons.

The SESAMES Awards, held annually, are regarded to be the industry's highest peer recognition. The jury is composed of a panel of international experts in the smart card industry. This year's judges selected finalists from a field of 233 applications competing for the best and most innovative products across 10 categories. The nominees will also have the privilege to showcase their products to about 20,000 professionals and 200 journalists attending from over 140 countries.

The SESAMES Awards ceremony will be held on Monday, November 3rd at 8:00 pm at the "Pavillon Gabriel", nearby the Champs Elysées in Paris, France.
